Our Talon Teen Accounts are available for members ages 13-18. There’s no membership fee and this account requires only a $5.00 minimum deposit to open. As a Talon Teen member, you'll receive a membership card and a cool gift just for opening your account!
Your Talon Teen Share Account earns interest. The larger the balance in it, the more interest you will earn, and the faster your money will grow. You can even view your balances over the Internet with our FREE Online Banking and e-statements. Talon Teen Account members also receive:

For those teens age 16 & up that have valid photograph identification, the Talon Teen Account provides the opportunity to open one of Visterra Credit Union’s Checking Accounts (adult joint account owner required*):
To qualify for a checking account, you must attend a Visterra CU Checking Account Seminar/Workshop or complete the On-Line Checking Account Workshops (Courses 301, 302, & 303). You’ll then receive Certificates of Completion which must be presented to open your checking account.
Visa Credit Card
If you think you’re ready for your first Visa Credit Card and you’re at least 16 years old, we encourage you to apply (providing your adult joint account owner approves). Please note that you may be required to have established good financial habits using a Visa Debit Card for a minimum of six months.
